This book is amazing and had me hooked from Day 1. Suspenseful and thrilling. You can’t help but fall in love with Mickey as she tries to navigate the P.I. world. Linda puts her heart into her characters and story, and you can tell that from the first page. She gives me serious James Patterson vibes as far as story, plots, and character development goes without getting far fetched with the stories. Linda and James both have the ability to pull you in and keep you wanting more without the story becoming something you’ve already read or the story becoming so unrealistic or “out there” you can’t help but roll your eyes. I can’t wait to see what becomes of Linda’s career as a writer and where the stories take Mickey and Ethan, and where they ultimately take her. 10/10 I recommend reading. I can’t wait for the rest of the series!!
